Shad Paul Tessier

Shad P. Tessier, 43, of Harwich, died unexpectedly in his home on November 25, 2015. He was born February 22, 1972 in Worcester, MA to Priscilla and Paul. He graduated from St. John’s High School in Shrewsbury, and received his bachelor’s degree from UMass Amherst, where he was a member of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity.

Shad is survived by his loving wife Kelley (Trask) Tessier and his daughters, Megan, Natalie, and Ava Baker of Harwich; his mother Priscilla (Keddy) Ekberg and her husband David; his father Paul Tessier and his partner Janelle LaFranchise; his sister and brother-in-law Holly and Tad Peckskamp, and their son Sawyer; and his step-brother Jeff Ekberg, and his daughter Alexandra.

Shad was a loving husband and a dedicated father. He loved the ocean, and enjoyed fishing with his father. He was an avid video gamer, and shared that love with his daughters. One of his proudest moments was donating life-saving bone marrow to his sister.

There will be a visiting hour from 1:00 - 2:00 pm, followed by a service from 2:00 - 3:00 pm on Friday December 4, at Doane, Beal, & Ames Funeral Home, 260 Main St. (Rt. 28), West Harwich, MA.
