Miss Poore and family.  I am so very sorry for your loss.  I hope the memories of her smile and spirit will carry you through when days are hard.  She is in every rainbow and every star still watching and still taking care.

Mom…We were fortunate to have parents who had a strong faith, loved each other and were self-sacrificing in their commitment to their children. Your lifelong quest to serve and love your Savior allowed us to have an earthly home with a firm foundation and guided us to our future eternal heavenly residence.

Your dedication and commitment to the contract of your marriage is the second most signiificant gift you gave us.  Over sixty-nine years of loving and serving each other provided us with a reference point for what  loyalty, love, 
respect and faithfulness look like when "fleshed-out" in everyday living.

Through years of hardship created by Dad's prolonged illnesses, you provided a safe and comfortable home for us all.  You were such a gracious hostess and great cook.  Mealtime was always a feast.  You created a home where we knew we could always bring a guest to dinner or bring a "group" for a week's visit.  You supported the many students I sent to the Midwest and Anderson University by feeding them, attending their special events and taking them on mini-vacations.  Your generosity continues to overwhelm my friends.

Life's struggles did not weaken your faith or values. Your final journey was very challenging.  Thank you for allowing me to travel alongside you.  We were both blessed by the abudance of God's tender mercies. 

And now, Momma, bask in the wonder of Grace received and the joys of a race well-run.

 Thank you for alway being there for your family. You will be missed, but we know you are in a much better place. the twinkle in your eyes and smile on your face will always be etched in our memories. you gave life and happiness to your family.

Enjoy your homecoming with Dad as the two of you watch over your children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Thank you, Cheryl, for allowing your life style to be altered so you could care for Mom and Dad. Thanks also, to the many friends and caregivers who made Mom and Dad's life easier and happier in their final days.

You will always be in our hearts until we meet again in that heavenly place.

Hi Mom, 
I picture you meeting up and having the Joy of once again being with Dad and so many other family members who have now joined the 'forever life'.  We will miss you but know that you are in a better place surrounded by those who also love you.  You and Dad have left a large family which has had the benefit of your love, the example of the way you and Dad have shared almost 70 years together with love and respect toward each other and your Christian ways and belief which you believe so strongly. We all want to especially Thank the following: Cheryl, for doing such a Wonderful job taking care of you and making sure you were always content and getting every possible convenience to keep you safe and comfortable; Stephen,the Brilliant, Gifted, and Most Dedicated Doctor Friend; Mary, your favorite cookie maker and always 'just a call away'; Lois and her parents for their companionship and scrumptious meals; the wonderful 'caring angels and friends' which gave you unbelievable care with warmth and love; the extended family friends which visited you regularly including their children which spent time with you and also brought more joy and love, and Hospice, for being such a loving and exceptional care provider in these final days of your life. These latter years have blessed you tremendously as you have been surrounded with Love, Comfort, Peace, Beauty, and a Large Family who LOVES you and will miss you tremendously.  We Love you Mom!!! May you feel our Big Tight Hugs around you forever, along with Dad, Grandma Mishler, Aunt Nancy and the many other family members which you are now able to be with once again.  We all miss and love you. Forever Love, Always, ALL Your Kids!!
