Alberto B. Caulineau 84. A 54 year resident of West Palm Beach passed away Sunday, August 29, 2010. Alberto was born November 25, 1925 in Havana, Cuba. He played professional Jai-Alai in Havana, Miami, West Palm Beach, Tampa, Acapulco, and Spain. Alberto retired as a scorekeeper at Palm Beach Jai-Alai and worked off season in Palm Beach at the old Carlton Beach Club. Alberto is pre-deceased by his loving wife of 60 years Elena Hernandez Caulineau. He is survived by his children, son Andres (Sharon) Caulineau of Knoxville, TN and daughter Mayra (Dan) Caylor of Huntersville NC; grandson A.J. (Misty) Caulineau of Knoxville, TN, Benjamin (Robin) Caylor of Huntersville, NC, and Danny Caylor of Boone, NC; three great-granddaughters Lillian Izabella Caylor, Elena Rose Caylor and Emily Grace Caulineau; brother Nicholas Caulineau of Miami, FL; sister Luciana Calixto of Miami, FL. A Visitation will be held Friday, September 3, 2010 from 6 to 8pm at the funeral home. Funeral Services will be Saturday, September 4, 2010 at 11am in the funeral home. Burial to follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park, West Palm Beach, FL.
