Avelino A. Novoa

Mr. Novoa age 87 of West Palm Beach, Florida formerly of Minneapolis, MN passed away on November 11, 2010. He has resided in the West Palm Beach area since 2003. Mr. Novoa was a devout Catholic and parishioner of St. Juliana Catholic Church in West Palm Beach, FL. In his spare time he was an avid golfer and enjoyed caring for his loved grandchildren. Mr. Novoa was preceded in death by his daughter, Maria Novoa Zucaro on June 2008, a brother, Pablo Novoa, and his mother and father Basilisa and Avelino.

Survivors include a loving & devoted wife of 61 years, Caridad Novoa; his son, Avelino (Beverly) Mills-Novoa of Minneapolis, MN; four grandchildren, Jessica & Christina Bello, Nicole & Megan Mills-Novoa; a brother, Gumer Novoa of Lake Worth, FL; sisters, Eva (Chuck) Hutton of Lake Worth and Dulce Fereira of Las Vegas, NV.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00PM on Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Mizell-Faville-Zern Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 6411 Parker Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL with Father Jose Crucet the celebrant. Inurnment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, West Palm Beach, FL. Those planning expressions of sympathy are asked to contribute in lieu of flowers to the American Breast Cancer Foundation, 1220 B East Joppa Road, Suite 332, Baltimore, MD 21286 to honor the Memory of Avelino A. Novoa on behalf on his daughter Maria.
