Betty Sue Stinson

1925 - 2011

Mrs. Stinson, age 85 of West Palm Beach, Florida passed away peacefully at her residence on March 20, 2011. Betty Sue moved to the South Florida area in the 1920’s coming from her hometown of Old Hickory, TN. She worked at the Bank of Hollywood prior to marrying her beloved husband, Harold J. “Sammy” Stinson. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, taking care of her adored grandchildren and watching Jeopardy. Betty Sue will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends!

Survivors include her four loving children, John E. Stinson (wife, Laura), William A. Stinson (wife, Lori), James P. Stinson (wife, Terry), Daniel H. Stinson (wife, Martha) all of West Palm Beach, FL; her loved sister, Jean Tharin of Lake Worth, FL; nine adored grandchildren, Crystie, Naomi, Lisa, John, Melissa, Tina, Katie, Daniel H. Jr. and Brandon; twelve precious great grandchildren, Carter, Kelsey, Ally, Ian, Declan, Emma, Addi, William, Wesley, Justin, Kendall & Kayla.

A Celebration of Betty Sue’s Life will be held 11AM, Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Mizell-Faville-Zern Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 6411 Parker Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33405. Interment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, West Palm Beach, FL. Friends may visit on Saturday at the funeral home from 10AM – 11AM service time.
