

David A. Mueller, the beloved son of the Rev. George and Myrtle Mueller, and brother to the late George Mueller Jr. and Ruth Colket, passed away on June 5, 2023. Born on July 29, 1938, David's life was profoundly influenced by the love and support of his family, and he carried their values with him throughout his journey.
As the son of the Rev. George and Myrtle Mueller, David grew up in a nurturing and faith-filled environment. His parents' dedication to their own ministries instilled in him a deep sense of devotion and a calling to serve others. David shared a special bond with his sister, Ruth, and their sibling relationship was marked by love, support, and cherished memories.
While David's brother George had previously passed away, his memory remained a cherished part of David's life. The loss of George created a void in David's heart, but his brother's spirit continued to inspire him in his own journey.
David was married to Cassie Mueller for almost 59 years, a partnership marked by love, devotion, and unwavering commitment. Together, they built a life filled with cherished memories, shared laughter, and steadfast support for one another.
David was a devoted father to two children, Rebecca Williams and Paul Mueller. He took immense pride in their accomplishments and cherished the special bond they shared. In addition, David was a loving grandfather to Daniel "Tre" Williams and Sarah Mueller, who brought immense joy and happiness into his life.
David's upbringing in a family deeply rooted in faith played a significant role in shaping his own spiritual path. He followed in his father's footsteps, becoming a Lutheran minister, and devoted his life to serving God and his congregations. David's commitment to his ministry was a testament to the values instilled in him by his parents and the deep connection he felt to his faith.
Beyond his dedication to his family and faith, David found joy in life's simple pleasures. He had a profound love for the water, finding solace and tranquility in its presence. Whether he was boating, fishing, lobstering, or simply spending time by the ocean, David felt a deep connection to the water and appreciated its beauty. Sports also held a special place in David's heart, and he enjoyed cheering on his favorite teams. His enthusiasm for the Baltimore Orioles baseball team was unmatched, and he followed their games with unwavering dedication. Additionally, David had a deep appreciation for Miami Hurricane Football and cherished the excitement that came with each game.
David A. Mueller will forever be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, proud grandfather, esteemed chaplain, and dedicated minister. His unwavering faith, compassionate nature, and love for his family and sports endeared him to all who knew him. Although his presence will be deeply missed, his spirit will continue to inspire and guide us as we carry his memory in our hearts.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate David's life will be held at Faith Lutheran Church in North Palm Beach on June 10, 2023. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Food for the Poor, as it was a cause close to David's heart.
