

Elizabeth R. “Betty” Forrest, age 75 of Lake Worth, Florida passed away peacefully at home on April 10, 2013 with her family at her side. Elizabeth was born on April 1, 1938 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Mrs. Elizabeth Rutledge. Elizabeth moved to the Lake Worth area in 1963 coming from West Acres, Michigan. She worked in the Banking Industry for many years at Republic Bank serving as an Assistant Vice President in the Mortgage Department. She was also active with First Baptist Church of Lake Worth, working as a Secretary and on Sundays singing in the choir. Elizabeth loved taking care of her family, close friends and her companion puppies, never shy to help out when and where she might be needed. She was a Godly Woman and lived up to the verse, Proverbs; 31-10! She will be forever loved and treasured by her husband, Robert W. Forrest of Lake Worth, FL; her four sons, Gary Lamar Forrest of Stuart, FL, Robert Wendell Forrest of Lake Worth, FL, Jeffrey Craig Forrest and his wife, Gina of Lantana, FL, and John Raymond Forrest of Lake Worth, FL; nine grandchildren, Chris Forrest and his wife, Miina of Boynton Beach, FL, Chad Forrest and his wife, Megan of Ft. Myers, FL, Matt Forrest and his wife, Kelly of Palm City, FL, Ashley Horn and her husband, Anthony of Port St. Lucie, FL, Lindsey Forrest of Stuart, FL, Britany Beale of West Palm Beach, FL, Conrad Forrest of Lake Worth, FL, Chase Forrest of Lake Worth, FL and Colton Forrest of Lake Worth; two great grandchildren, Addison and Austin Horn both of Port St. Lucie, FL; one sister, Barbara Feltenbarger of Deerfield Beach, FL; sisters-in-law, Darlene Forrest-Kalampalikis and her husband, Spiro and Diana Frie all of Delray Beach, FL. Friends and family will meet on Monday April 15, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Lake Worth, 127 South “M” Street, Lake Worth, FL 33460, (561) 585-5559 to visit and pay respects from 12PM -1PM and a Celebration of Life Service will begin at 1PM in the Church with Pastor Brent Myers officiating. Christian Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park, 6411 Parker Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33405, (561) 582-4131.
