Frank Vernon Saulsby

With a heavy heart, we mark the end of an incredible life. Frank Vernon Saulsby entered eternal rest on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. Born on April 1, 1933, in Suwanee County, Florida to John and Sallie Saulsby, his life was marked by perseverance, leadership, and a deep commitment to family.

After serving in the U.S. Army's Quartermaster Corps, Frank co-founded Saulsby & Saulsby Enterprises Inc., contributing significantly to Palm Beach County's economy.

Frank put his financial, leadership, and problem-solving skills to work in a series of accounting, banking, and business positions in Palm Beach County. Among them: Serving as Manager of the West Palm Beach Housing Authority; Serving as Director and President of the Palm Beach Lakes Bank, the first Black bank in Palm Beach County; Serving as a Board Member of Suncoast Chamber of Commerce; and Serving as President and Board Chairman of the Tri-County Chapter National Business League from 1985-1988.

A dedicated member of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church since 1963, Frank served as a Deacon and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, demonstrating his dedication to faith and community.

Survived by his wife of 70 years, Jenny, daughters Teresa, Pamela, and Alicia, and a proud lineage of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, Frank’s legacy is one of profound commitment to family, faith, and leadership.

Relatives and friends are warmly invited to honor Frank's memory. A Visitation will be held Friday, April 19, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Mount Calvary Missionary baptist Church, 1111 36th. Street, West Palm Beach, FL 33407. A Celebration of Life will occur Saturday, April 20, 2024 at 11:00am at Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church.

Military honors and a Committal Service will be held at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, 5601 Greenwood Avenue, West Palm Beach, Florida 33407. Services are entrusted to Royal Palm Funeral Home.
