

Mrs. Hildred E. James departed this life on Thursday evening, January 19, 2012 at Palm Beach Medical Center. She was 96 years old when she went home to the Lord. She was born on November 11, 1915 in Havana, Cuba of the late Mr. & Mrs. Hanna Thomas Marson.Early in her life, she began her walk with the Lord at the Pentecostal Assembly and became a very active member. Things she enjoyed doing were teaching Sunday School and caring for the Sick. She moved to Florida in 1985, where she continued her church work at a Pentecostal Assembly Church. In 1988, she became a member of the Precious Cornerstone of Faith Apostolic Church. She was a Board member and became church “Mother”. She was a very kind, patient and determined person. She touched the lives of many, always willing to help everyone if she could. She will be sorely missed. She leaves behind to cherish her memories, her one brother, Jonathan Marson and his wife, Mary Marson of London, England; God-daughter, Amena Ball; two step-sons, Roy James and Vincent James; grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and her Bishop Clarence Dennis and Pastor E.N. Dennis, and devoted church family; as well as many close friends. Friends may visit and pay respects on Thursday, January 26, 2012 from 6 PM – 8 PM at the Precious Cornerstone of Faith Apostolic Church, 48 East 27th Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33404. A Celebration of Mother James’ Life will be 12 Noon Friday, January 27, 2012 at St. John Missionary Baptist Church, 2006 A E Isaacs Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407. Christian Burial will follow in Royal Palm Memorial Gardens, West Palm Beach, FL.
