James A. Snyder was born in Sheffield, PA on October 28, 1930, to the late Charley and Genevieve Snyder. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Annabelle, brother Jack, daughter Lisa and grandson Ben. He is survived by daughter Katrina of West Palm Beach, FL, Kim and Vicki of Panama City Beach, FL, faithful long time friend and companion Joy Haight, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. James was a graduate of Sheffield High School and served in the Air Force during the Korean War. James a resident of West Palm Beach for over fifty years, retired from Pratt Whitney Aircraft Research and Development Center after 29 years of service.
A requiem mass will be held at St. Mary Anglican Church, Delray Beach, FL. Burial will follow in South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, Florida. In lieu of flowers please honor James with a donation to Vitas Healthcare, Delray Beach, FL.
