COVE, John Patrick John Patrick Cove, 75 years old, of Palm Beach, FL and Rosscarbery, County Cork, Ireland, died Friday, April 13, 2018. Born on December 29, 1942 in Milford, MA, John was the son of J. Francis Cove and Mary Carroll Cove. He was raised in Uxbridge, MA, and attended the local schools and St. Mary's Regional High School in Milford, MA. He was a proud Alumni of the Providence College, Class of '64. At Providence College, he majored in Political Science and Philosophy. He played semi- professional ice hockey while in Providence. John worked as an Insurance Broker for many years. He retired from Cove Insurance and in 2004 moved to Palm Beach. In Palm Beach, he enjoyed playing doubles tennis in both the Phipps and Seaview Tennis Leagues. He was an avid sportsman, and enjoyed deep sea fishing and golf as well as tennis. John was also active in Rotary International, and served as District Governor for Central Massachusetts from 2002-2003. He spent summers in West Cork for over 40 years. John is survived by his loving wife Carla (Termini) Cove. He is also survived by his greatest pride and joy, daughter Margaret Larson, son-in-law Neil Larson, and his three grandsons, Vaughn, Nigel and Magnus Larson all of Somersworth, NH. Additionally, he is survived by his sisters, Mary Cove (Indianapolis, IN) and Kathleen Curley (Framingham, MA), his brothers, J. Francis Cove and Joseph Cove, both of Uxbridge, MA and his nieces and nephews. John will be buried in Glandore, Ireland this summer. A Memorial Mass will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at his parish church, St. Edward Catholic Church in Palm Beach.
