Our mother Maria Padilla sadly passed away on August 15, 2022, at the age of 74. She was a wonderful and caring mother and grandmother. She was born in Abra Honda, Camuy, Puerto Rico and has been a resident of Palm Beach County for 30 years. She previously resided in Bridgeport Connecticut for over 25 years. She was predeceased by her father, Tomas Padilla, her mother, Marcelina Roman, her sisters Elizabeth Padilla and Maritza Padilla, and her brother Jose Tomas Padilla.
She is survived by her 4 children, Maria Judith Cabrera, Tomas Orellana, Richard Orellana, and Jessica Orellana; by her 6 grandchildren Hezekiah S. Jones, Maria A. Orellana, Amber M. Orellana, Zoey M. Orellana, Katie L. Orellana, and baby Olivia; by her 3 great-grandchildren Brayden Hernandez, Violet Jade Jones, and Hezekiah J. Jones; by her sister Rosa Padilla (Ruthy), her brother Israel Padilla, 15 nieces and nephews and many great-nieces and nephews.
She was raised in the Christian faith. She loved to be with her family, dancing, singing, and loved the casinos. She had many friends and was well-loved in her communities where she lived and will be sorely missed.
