Born on January 28th, 1938 in the small town of La Tabla, Cuba. She was a loving Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Friend. Martha was a central core of our family. She was kind, caring, generous, intelligent, and strong willed; she would carry these personality traits with her, throughout her whole life. Original growing up in Baire, Cuba, she was a professor until she decided to leave her life and family behind to give her daughters the opportunity to grow up in the United States. She would move from Cuba to Costa Rica to New Jersey and eventually settle into South Florida for the next 41 years. She brought love and laughter into every life she touched.
She lives on in the hearts of her loving daughters Angeles Vera, Roxana Milo (M. Frank Milo) and Oksana Rivera-Rincon (M. Gunther Rincon) (José Rivera); her cherished grandchildren Francisco Rivera-Vera, Jason Rivera, Dylan Rivera, and Sarah Ashley Evans; and the extended family and friends that she helped build, craft, and love every day of her life.
A burial service will be held for her on Tuesday, May 19th, 2026, at 2:00pm Est. At Hillcrest Memorial Park, West Palm Beach, Florida
