Three years ago, my dad today left us  in a blink of an eye. Not sure how or why he never woke up. Today on his birthday and death of of my father it still seems unreal. 

     I keep hoping he's taking a vacation and he will return with a funny joke or sitting quietly in his front yard. I never knew the pain and disappointment would be as difficult as is three years ago. I often think of him and wondering what he would be doing in retirement. 

    My daughter did not get to know him or see the passion for the things he loved. Giving his family 100% everyday and making sure we had enough and more. Watching over us, keeping me near but far enough he could see what kind of woman I would be. I look at my pictures of him and hope he is happy and still watches over me from afar. Knowing that he did a great job raising me with my mother. Thank you daddy!! 

     I may not see you around me everyday but I know you are watching me. Where you are just know I love you very much. Xoxo

Today is your birthday dad! I wake up getting ready to call or text to say,  Happy Birthday.  My eyes begin to filled up with tears. You are no longer with us.  My first thought is I miss your sense of humor. I love you. And just wanted to say, Thank you for loving me. Making you my daddy.  I pray you happy and safe. Happy Birthday Daddy!!

Miss you Marty.  One of the best human beings I've ever met and I'll never forget you.

My Father & Daughter dance at the Boating Club.  Daddy was so nervous and kept telling me he can't dance. I told him it didnt matter.  

He cry and cry and I felt bad.  He said he was so proud. I wish I could dance with him again. 

My dad begin to cry when the pastor asks what man gives this woman away. Im was scared my dad was to about to give me away. I felt like a princess with my dad.  I felt safe, love and protected. 

My daddy was getting ready to give me away. He looks  as nervous as I did. I felt so lucky and waited a long time for my daddy to give away finally. 

Daddy always work really hard. He took pride in going in everyday and doing his job. Rather he was feeling upset or happy  Daddy went  to show his children what hard work was. 

I remember my dad fishing every Saturday with my mom. He was always proud how  many Kingfish he would get to give to his family and friends. He loved boTing and fishing and having fun.

My parents looked amazing and wonderful  on  my wedding day. He was truly happy and I was so honored to have him wLk me down the aisle.  I am blessed he was there to see me before he passed away 

We had the pleasure of not only being a customer of Martin "Marty", but built a great friendship with him over the years. As we all know, Marty was such a giving and caring gentleman who would always be there to help somebody. If customer's needed more repairs than expected or cost more than they  could afford, he was always work something out for them. Always gave of himself to make sure he helped others. He will be missed more than I can express in words. We will carry our memories of you in our hearts.
