Nardo Arco

Nardo Arco, age 92, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025. Born on May 8, 1933, in Sagua La Grande, Cuba, Nardo lived a long and meaningful life defined by love, integrity, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family.

A devoted husband, Nardo was preceded in death by his beloved wife of more than six decades, Gardenia, whom he cherished deeply. Together, they built a home filled with love, laughter, and enduring values—one that became the foundation for generations to come.

Nardo was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who took immense pride in his family. He never missed an opportunity to offer guidance, encouragement, or support, and his steady presence was a source of comfort to all who knew him. He was known for his kind heart, strong work ethic, generosity, and quiet wisdom, qualities that will be deeply missed.

After immigrating from Cuba, Nardo worked as a welder and took great pride in the example he set through dedication, honesty, and perseverance. In his free time, he enjoyed watching football—especially cheering on the Miami Dolphins—following horse races, and, most of all, spending simple, meaningful moments with those he loved.

Nardo is survived by his sons, Enrique and Alberto; his nine grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends who were blessed to know and love him.

Visitation will be held on December 21, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 6411 Parker Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33405. Interment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Park on December 22, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., graveside.

Nardo’s legacy of love, humility, and devotion to family will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew him.

Nardo Arco, de 92 años, falleció en paz el 17 de diciembre de 2025. Nació el 8 de mayo de 1933 en Sagua La Grande, Cuba, y vivió una vida larga y significativa, definida por el amor, la integridad, la fortaleza y una devoción inquebrantable hacia su familia.

Esposo devoto, Nardo fue precedido en la muerte por su amada esposa de más de seis décadas, Gardenia, a quien amó profundamente. Juntos construyeron un hogar lleno de amor, risas y valores perdurables, que se convirtió en la base de generaciones futuras.

Nardo fue un padre, abuelo y bisabuelo amoroso que sentía un inmenso orgullo por su familia. Después de emigrar de Cuba, Nardo trabajó como soldador y se sentía muy orgulloso del ejemplo que dio a través de su dedicación, honestidad y perseverancia. En su tiempo libre disfrutaba ver fútbol americano—especialmente animar a los Miami Dolphins—seguir las carreras de caballos y, sobre todo, compartir momentos sencillos y significativos con sus seres queridos.

Le sobreviven sus hijos, Enrique y Alberto; sus nueve nietos; veinte bisnietos; así como muchos familiares extendidos y amigos que tuvieron la bendición de conocerlo y amarlo.

La velación se llevará a cabo el 21 de diciembre de 2025, de 12:00 p.m. a 2:00 p.m., en Quattlebaum Funeral Home, ubicado en 6411 Parker Ave., West Palm Beach, FL 33405. La inhumación tendrá lugar en Hillcrest Memorial Park el 22 de diciembre de 2025, de 11:00 a.m. a 11:30 a.m., en ceremonia junto a la tumba.
