It was such a good day first to the gun range then a few drinks at Squid Lips talking about the good old days.  As you know we could talk about nothing for hours. I will miss Pat, my good friend since high school and fire department days.

Pat was a terrific guy, and I never heard even a whisper of any other opinion from anyone in my entire career at Fire Rescue.

Dear Suzie, Madison and Nick
I’ve known Pat since childhood as we grew up just down the street from each other. He was always so kind.  In my adult life I’d run into him from time to time at the usual places, Home Depot, Publix. And he worked at the firehouse just down the road from my home in the farms. 
He’s helped so many people throughout the years in his job, including my family.  That takes a very special kind of person.  
I am so very sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. 
Suzie, if you need anything, please let me know. I’m not too far away.

Patrick: It pains me to hear of your passing. You were one great firefighter who was a friend to all. Your passing was way too soon. Keep on doing the 🎶 “Walk of Life “ 🎶 up there . It was clearly your trademark. Rest in Peace my friend.

Great Man. Gone too soon. His Family was more important than anything and they have suffered a great loss. I hope they find peace in knowing they were his everything and if he could have stayed he would have.  Rest In Gods Eternal Glory now my Friend. I will miss you.😔

I worked with Pat at Old Dixie Fire Control District (pre-consolidation). What I remember most about Pat was he always had a smile and happy disposition. He could be a sneaky prankster,  never short for a conversation, and always had a heart of gold. Pat's illness  may have been short but he lived a big life of giving and loving. 
Pat - you will be missed and forever loved. "See you on the other side".
