1922 – 2011
A gentle kind caring man, a cherished husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and brother. After a long and courageous battle he peacefully succumbed to complications from Leukemia on February 26, 2011 at Hospice of Palm Beach County.
Preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Schoneman. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 25 years, “Sioux” Rose Schoneman, daughter, Pamela (Eric) Petersen, son, Robert (Dottie) Schoneman, sisters-in-law, Joan Greenwood & Judy Greenwood, step-daughter, Susan (Joseph) LeBourgeois, step-son, Peter Clausen, eight grandchildren, Robert Schoneman, III, Ann Marie McVoy, Jeremy Petersen, Heath Petersen, Anthony Petersen, Eric Clausen, Sheena Clausen, and Kristen Clasen, seven great grandchildren, Gregory Petersen, Andrew Petersen, Matthew Petersen, Zoey McVoy, Rick McVoy, Riley Merritt and Clare Merritt and many many special friends.
Bob was Legend at Southern Bell with 43 years of service, and a telephone pioneer. Bob was devoted to family, friends, church (Unity), community & country. He was a great example of all that is good in this world we live in.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to: Safe Harbor Animal Rescue or Hospice of Palm Beach County.
