She peacefully departed this life on August 23, 2024, at 6:20 pm, surrounded by her family and friends who meant the world to her. Roselyn was the beloved daughter of Rosa and Pedro Medrano, and the cherished wife of Charles Holt. She was the devoted mother of three sons: Nathaniel Frantzis, Marcus Holt, and Isaac Holt. Her love for her children was unconditional and limitless, shaping her every decision and action.
As the eldest sibling, Roselyn was the backbone of her family. She shared an unbreakable bond with her sisters, Jacquee Spencer (known as Aixa) and Trisha Cartagena, as well as her brother, Coty Medrano.
Her nephews, Jason, Tyson, and Ily, were like sons to her, and she adored them with all her heart.
Roselyn was a hard worker, a go-getter, and a woman who lived for her family.
She had a deep and abiding faith in God, which was the guiding light of her life. Even from her sickbed, she participated in Bible studies, never asking for prayers for herself but always praying for others.
Her final words to her son Nathaniel, "I am in love with you," exemplify the depth of her love and devotion.
Roselyn’s best friends, Lisu, Krystal, Norma, and Camille, held a special place in her life. Lisu and Camille, in particular, stood by her side day and night, offering unwavering support during her final days.
Roselyn often said, "God is Good," and her faith was a source of comfort and strength throughout her life. Roselyn was a reborn Christian, baptized with the Holy Spirit, and she sought forgiveness and offered it to others in her final months.
Her legacy of love, faith, and family devotion will forever be cherished by those who knew her.
