Bruce J. Pool

Bruce was born a son of Arthur and Betty Jo (Mewes) Pool on July 16th, 1956 in Olney, Illinois. He was a farmer and avid outdoorsman who loved animals, hunting, fishing and farming. He was a member of the Richland County Farm Bureau, former employee of Champ for 30 years and a volunteer at Berryville Vineyards.

He is survived by son Brett (Machelle) Pool of Wheatland, IN, 3 daughters; Mandy (Jeremiah) Brown, Chelsea (Greg) Volk and Mackenzie Pool all of Olney, Illinois. Brother Brad (Jane) Pool, sister Cheryl (Tim) Braddock both of Berryville, Illinois and grandchildren Dakotah, Keegan, Dawson, Sydney, Marlee, Gabriel and Abram.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be 11am Wednesday February 12th, 2014 at the Berryville Christian Church. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Cemetery, north of Berryville. Visitation will be from 5 to 7pm Tuesday at the Ingram Funeral Home in West Salem, Illinois.

Memorials: The family has requested memorials be made to South Eastern Illinois Hospice in lieu of flowers.
