Ardis Patricia Reveley

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ardis Reveley. She left us 10 November 2025 in the company of family after a lengthy battle and a short stay at Lion's Gate Hospital in North Vancouver. She was well cared for by her medical team and very appreciative of the medical staff.

She leaves behind her son Jayse Reveley, her husband Peter Hefti, Peter's two daughters Michelle and Theresa, her brother Michael Reveley, her sister Russet MacKay, and many, many friends who will miss her enormously.

Ardis was born at St Paul's Hospital in Vancouver and raised in West Vancouver by her beloved parents Thomas Reveley and Margaret Reveley née Cashman. She attended Irwin Park Elementary and Hillside Secondary. She was intimately involved with the planning for Hillside reunions.

After years of adventure and work across continents Ardis opened two successful retail stores in Vancouver selling goods imported from overseas. She settled back in West Vancouver and gave birth to her only child in 1981. She had careers with Lonetree Enterprises in Vancouver, Suite 200 offices, and opened and operated Executive Suite in West Vancouver for many years.

In 2002 she married Peter and moved to Lions Bay, turning the house she bought with Peter into a beautiful and welcoming home. Her garden grew to a thing of beauty under her care.

Ardis was loved and appreciated by all who knew her. Her optimism, sense of wonder, and love was felt by every person whose life she touched. She loved West Vancouver, her home, and where she lived the majority of her life. She dedicated her time to others and to her garden. She gave generously and asked for little.

She asks all to be themselves and to live a life of love, generosity, and wonder.
