Our beloved Bahareh was born in Iran on the first day of spring — the day Persians call Nowruz. Her name, Bahareh, comes from “Bahar,” the Persian word for spring itself. She truly embodied the spirit of spring: renewal, beauty, warmth, and hope.
That same springtime blessing followed her throughout life. She and her husband were married on the first day of spring, and this year, even while in the hospital, they lovingly celebrated their 25th silver anniversary together — a testament to a beautiful quarter-century journey filled with love and companionship.
Although she trained as an engineer, Bahareh bravely followed her heart when she moved to Canada twelve years ago. She changed her career to pursue her true passion in fashion and styling. What began as a new path quickly became her calling. To her, work was never just work — it was joy. She created a warm, loving family among her colleagues, treating every person with genuine kindness and respect, regardless of age, culture, or background. She saw them all as family and brought laughter, energy, and light into every day. Her colleagues cherished her positive spirit and the way she motivated and uplifted everyone around her.
Even during six challenging years of illness and treatment, Bahareh remained remarkably energetic, hopeful, and positive. She carried her difficulties with grace and strength, never allowing her pain to burden others. Instead, she continued to inspire those around her with her smile, her encouragement, and her unwavering optimism.
To her husband, Bahareh was far more than a wife — she was his best friend. From her, he learned so much about how to live a good, kind, and joyful life. Her laughter, her big heart, and her gentle spirit touched everyone who knew her.
Though we gather today to say goodbye, Bahareh’s light remains with us. She will forever be remembered as a beautiful soul who brought the warmth and hope of spring into the lives of all who knew her.
