Born in Montreal, Ross moved out West with his family in the early 60's. Known for his independent spirit and zest for life, he was always a family man first, a strong Christian, a self-made businessman, community minded, well read, curious and informed. He and the family spent many happy moments together at the cottages. Ross was sports minded and loved to cycle, ski and travel well into his 80's. He was a WWII Veteran. Arrangements for a celebration of Ross's life are pending. For those that wish to honor his memory, in lieu of flowers, please donate to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
