Mr. Donald Steele

March 24, 1928 - September 24, 2016

It is with profound sadness that the Steele family announces the passing of a husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend. Donald is survived by his loving wife Dolores - his cherished bride of 64 years, three children David (Heather), Denise, Douglas (Lisa) and six grandchildren Gillian, Kate, Hayley, Dylan, Courtney and Sabrina as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Donald touched the lives of many while engaged in a dedicated career with the Royal Bank of Canada, a post-retirement career with Granville Savings and Mortgage Corp.and a never ending pursuit of Canadian and British Columbia related memorabilia.

Don was mentor to many, a confident to others and most importantly,a good friend to all. His life long love of the outdoors instilled, in each member of his clan, a passion that will forever be present around every campfire, on each boating adventure and appreciated on every fishing trip.

The "Phantom" will forever be in our hearts.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday October 27, 2016 at St. Martin's Anglican Church - 195 Windsor Road East, North Vancouver at 2 pm.
