Elizabeth MacDonald Henn

February 9, 1922-January 21, 2024

Elizabeth passed peacefully just shy of her 102nd birthday. Betty lived a full and blessed life.

Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, Betty enjoyed sharing stories of growing up in Scotland. Her love of tartans, tea and shortbread cookies never waned. During WW2, a proud Wren, Elizabeth met and fell in love with Ernie Henn of North Vancouver, a spitfire pilot with the RAF. They married and chose North Van as their home to raise a family and spend the rest of their years. Betty took great joy in zipping around in her sports car, keeping up on the latest fashion trends, dining out and traveling with Ernie. A patron of the arts, she enjoyed exposing her grandchildren to the opera, symphony and the playhouse. Betty and her late husband Ernie emphasized giving back to the community and were strong supporters of Lions Gate hospital."

Fondly remembered and missed by her two loving sons, Michael(Cindy) and Calvin(Liang Jing) and grandchildren Arran, Adam(Melissa), Ehren and Nathan(Shona).

The family would like to thank Dr. Sebba and the wonderful staff on the 4th floor at Lynn Valley Care Centre for their loving care.
