Irene is survived by her three children: Diane, Christine and Ian. She is also survived by five grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and seven great, great grandchildren.
Irene was born in West Brightside, Sheffield UK. During World War two she was with the Royal Ordnance Corps (1941-1944). Irene emigrated to Canada, June 1964. She lived in Calgary, AB for many years and later moved to West Vancouver.
Irene was employed by Eaton’s, where she was in management and a buyer for Eaton’s. She spoke fondly of her many years working at Eaton’s. Mum lived life to the fullest and had her own unique way of dealing with life.
