Joe passed peacefully in the care of North Shore Hospice after his health declined in recent weeks.
A beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather he is survived by his wife May (70 years married), and 5 children (pre-deceased by his daughter Helen), and by his sister Gretta.
Dad was a welder, businessman, property developer, golfer, and sport fisherman.
A son of Northern Ireland and a proud Canadian to whom a handshake was his bond. He will be dearly missed by family here, in the United States, and in the United Kingdom.
