Kathleen Margaret van Zonneveld

March 26, 1926 – October 23, 2025

Passed away at the age 99 years.She was the only child of Thomas and Catherine Ellis whom preceded her. She was also preceded by her first husband Charles Alward, second husband John van Zonneveld, stepdaughter Sandra Richmond and step son Quentin van Zonneveld. She is survived by stepdaughters Nefri Lyske (George) and Wendy Manahan, 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, long life friends Donna, Eden and Dian Freeman.

After graduating from Pitman College, Kay worked at B/A Oil Company (Gulf Canada Limited) for 32 years. She was a member of the Vancouver Tennis Club, BC Women’s Association and Eagle Harbor Sailing Club.

Kay liked to travel going to U.S.A, Scotland, England, Holland. She also went on many boat cruises. She enjoyed camping and sailing.

Kay always had a smile and a twinkle in her eyes. She will be missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to thank the staff at Inglewood Care Centre for their gracious care they gave ‘Grandma Kay.’
