Miss Murphy Patricia Delesalle

March 28, 1994- August 24, 2010

Our darling Murphy was taken from us suddenly in a tragic accident at the age of sixteen. Her beautiful twinkling blue eyes closed forever on the night of August 24, but her warm smile and cute dimples will remain in our memories. Murphy’s loving parents, Patty and Pat Delesalle are devastated by this sudden loss as are Murphy’s brother Coady and younger sister Katie, and Pat’s children Tim and Jennifer. Also left to mourn are her grandmother Betty Joan Hickey and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins from the Hickey and Delesalle families. As a student of Collingwood School, Murphy was passionate about volleyball and dance. Her engaging and bubbly personality and love of fun endeared her to all. Her many friends will miss her, but especially Vanessa Godhino and Lauren Steele. Murphy will have good company in heaven with her predeceased grandparents Al Hickey and Joe and Marion Delesalle.

A mass of Christian burial celebrating Murphy’s short but touching life will be held at Christ Redeemer Church, 595 Keith Road, West Vancouver, at 10 am on Tuesday, August 31, 2010. Reception will follow immediately at Hollyburn Country Club. Murphy's dream was to save the dolphins. In lieu of flowers please consider donations in Murphy’s name at any Van City branch, Account 23739, branch # 49. All funds will be donated to Dolphin Rescue.
