August 22, 1950 – June 25, 2015
It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Phil at Lion’s Gate Hospital in North Vancouver. Predeceased by his parents Leslie and Ida Riley, his brother Mike and his sister Pat. Phil was born in Vancouver and lived in the lower mainland most of his life.
He will be remembered with great love by his wife Joanie, son Greg (Krystal), daughters Nikki, Dawn (Manny), Taryn (Cory), Tricia (Stacey), stepchildren Tracy, Rodney (Samantha) and Steven (Krys), 21 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and many more extended family and friends too many to name.
Phil had many passions including golf, travel and people and his quick wit and personality will be missed by all who knew him.
A celebration of his life will be held at the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club at 3811 Point Grey Road in Vancouver on Saturday, July 4th at 1pm.
