Ryan David Alfred Baker Norris: June 24th, 1980 (sunrise) to December 22nd, 2015 (sunset).
It is with great sadness that Ryan’s family announce his sudden and tragic passing on December 22nd, 2015 in Vancouver, BC. Our son, and large piece of our hearts, now live in Heaven.
Ryan was born in Kitchener, Ontario and had a great childhood filled with many friends and family. Throughout his school years, Ryan loved and excelled at sports. Ryan was passionate about hockey, football, baseball, skiing, tennis and golf. Ryan had many friends.
Ryan was very generous and he derived a lot of pleasure from helping others, especially all of the people he sponsored in AA. Ryan particularly enjoyed listening to music and fishing. He was very close with his cousin, Megan.
Ryan completed the Property Management course and kicked off his career by buying and selling real estate. By the age of 25, he already owned his 3rd home; a beautiful heritage home in Port Moody with his then partner Lise-Marie. Ryan enjoyed renovating kitchens and bathrooms and he was largely the general contractor on the renovation of the family home in Brunswick Beach.
Ryan leaves behind his son, Max, who is 5 years old. Ryan loved Max very much and wanted to expose Max to all the wonderful things he loved as child, and more.
Ryan is lovingly remembered by:
His mother and father, Christine and Dave Norris of Lions Bay and their many friends and neighbors.
His “second mom”, Sharon Dueck of Kitchener, Ontario.
His sister, Kimberley, and her partner, Spiro Polyhronopoulos, along with Ryan’s beautiful little niece, Zoe Christine Polyhronopoulos of Vancouver, BC.
His five year old son, Max, along with Max’s maternal grandmother, Sue, and Max’s mother, Jessica.
His cousins, Megan (his favourite!) and Amanda, children of his Uncle Wayne Baker and his Aunt Irene originally of Collingwood, Ontario, along with Alexis and Mackenzie.
His cousin, Kelly, child of Uncle Wayne Baker and Aunt Jackie, of Maryland, U.S.A.
His cousins, Natalie, Brittany & Olivia, children of his aunt Diane and uncle Fernando Rebelo, of Toronto Ontario, along with little Jacob.
His cousins, Caitlyn and Jessica Knox, children of his aunt Kathy and uncle David Knox, along with Shania, River and Rain.
His long standing friend, Jordan (Shasta) Mutch and her family of Vancouver, BC.
Ryan is forever remembered by so many other friends , too numerous to name.
