It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Stewart. Stewart had a heart and dreams bigger than he could share in this life. He endured his chronic pain with such bravery, always quick to show a big smile and share a joke. We will remember the loving attention he devoted to our mom. They shared a deep bond that will create such lasting memories. To be with Stewart was to add a puzzle piece, to tour “his” garden, to walk the Seawall, to watch a funny YouTube moment, and to share in deep conversation about Holland. We love you and will miss you dearly, Stewart.
Predeceased by his father, Gijsbert van de Poll. Survived by his mother, Johanna van de Poll, his brothers and sisters: Maurice (wife Denise, children Taylor, Monika), Caroline (husband David, children Tristan, Shaun), Mariette (husband, Robert), Beatrice (Daryl, child Stephanie), Reinier (wife Sherri, children Tessa, Logan, Fraser); his extended family in Holland; and his friends.
