Mar 4, 1930 – Dec 15, 2020
Tom Gould passed away at his home in West Vancouver at age 90. Born in Freshwater Bay, Isle of Wight, England, he immigrated to Canada (Edmonton) with his young family in 1955 and, in 1967, moved to Vancouver. A craftsman, he formed his own building construction companies in Edmonton and Vancouver. He loved to travel and had a passion for cars and driving.
We sadly lost a Dad, a Best Friend, a Gramps and a Great Grandfather. He will be missed. His confidence, intelligence and self-proclaimed driving ability, and his incredible sense of humour were intact to the very last moments of his life, which brings peace and comfort to the memories of having shared a lifetime with someone so special. Let the tears turn to laughter and the memories be never forgotten. Thomas Edward Gould (Dad) may you swim in Freshwater Bay forever.
Survived by daughter Lynne (Russ) Hanna, sons Rowland (Carole) and Kevin (Kim), grandchildren Trevor and Brett, Matthew (Ali), Riley, Emma, Joshua and Jada, great granddaughter Maya, and stepchildren (Heisler) Susan, Wendi, Janet and John. Predeceased by wife Deanna “Dani” Gould (nee Thorpe) and by sister Eileen.
