Barbara "Bobbie" Guinn Chamberlain

Barbara was born March 31, 1941 to Frank and Margaret Ronney, she has lived most of her life in Westlake, LA. Barbara was a devoted Christian with many hobbies and talents. She was a self-taught seamstress, and loved gardening, flowers and garage sales. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren; she was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.

Those left to cherish her memories are is two sons; Christopher Mark Abney of Westlake, LA and Kevin Lin Abney and wife Charlotte of Westlake , LA., one daughter; Tonya Elizabeth Lyrock and husband Larry of Cypress, TX., one sister; Hettie Thompson Hall and husband Howard of Birmingham, Alb., along with seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both parents and her husband Roy L. Chamberlain.

A memorial service will be held at 12pm on Tuesday, June 16, 2015 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Visitation will be Tuesday from 11am until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice or to help the family with funeral expenses.
