She loved to care for her family. She did not think of herself and was never judgmental.
She is survived by her husband, Randy Vallery of Moss Bluff; father, Dave Covert of Sulphur; son, John Vallery and wife, Barbara of Moss Bluff; brothers, David Lynn Covert of Sulphur, Mark Covert and wife, Candy of Sulphur, William Covert of Carlyss, Eddie Covert and wife, Natalie of DeQuincy; sisters, Nancy Traske and husband, Vince of Lake Charles, Kathy Doucet of Sulphur, Vickie Hantz of Westlake; grandchildren, Ananda Meo, Ethan Meo, Mia Meo and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, John David Vallery; mother, Joann Covert; aunts, Judy Richards, Becky Richards and her uncle Sam Richards.
Her funeral will be 2 p.m. Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home in Westlake. Rev. Luke Liechty will officiate. Burial will be in LeBleu Cemetery in Chloe. Visitation will be Saturday from 2 p.m.-9 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. til the time of service.
