

She was employed as a bookkeeper for Calcasieu Savings and Louisiana Savings and Loan and she volunteered with the Civil Air Patrol for many years. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed music and her pets. Donations may be made to the Hobo Hotel for Cats, hobohotelforcats.com or 337-439-2428. She is survived by her son, Raymond Landry of Westlake; daughter, Doretta Landry Ancelet and husband, Durlin of Sulphur; sisters, Maxine Harrell of Westlake, Nancy Smith of Beaumont, TX; 1 grandson, Christian Blankenship of Sulphur; 1 step-grandchild, Travis Ancelet of Sulphur as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Charles and Mary Elkin Barnes.
Her funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, February 4, 2011 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Rev. Dave LeBlanc will officiate. Burial will be in Westlake Memorial Cemetery.
