Dorothy Marie Sandt

Dorothy was born on April 04, 1940, in Bethlehem, PA to parents William and Edith Smith Peckitt. She was an examiner for the former Cross Country Clothes in Lehigh County, PA, for 22 years before moving to Louisiana. She later joined the American Legion and the Ladies Auxiliary where she was Seargent at arms.

She loved helping people and volunteering for different charities. In her spare time, she enjoyed shopping, reading, and cleaning everything around her.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harvey "Rusty" Sandt; brother, Paul Peckitt; sister, Janice Peckitt; and sons, Harvey Sandt Jr., Timothy Sandt, and Harry Sandt.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Donna, and Husband Brian Landry; grandchildren, Eric and wife Candace, Johnathon, and wife Rachel, and Cody and his girlfriend Jamie; she also leaves behind 6 much-adored great-grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.

There will be a visitation on September 20, 2023, at Westlake Funeral Home from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
