Elizabeth Deatherage

Visiting hours will be observed on Thursday, February 27, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hixson Westlake and will resume on Friday, February 28, 2025 from 8:00 AM until time of service at 10:00 AM. Burial will follow at Westlake Memorial Cemetery.

Elizabeth is survived by her children, Betty June Davis (Rufus "Ike"), Gregory Elliott, Howard C. Elliott and Wayne Deatherage; brother, Charles Dragone (Elaine); grandchildren, Elizabeth Deatherage, Robert Jason Elliott, Michael Cormier, Kevin Sheeder and Jeremy Helgran; 9 great grandchildren; ten great great grandchildren with one on the way.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred C. Deatherage; daughter, Julia Elliott; parents, Charles and Maria Stella Dragone; brothers, Roy Dragone and Joseph Dragone; sister, Katherine Fairbanks; and grandsons, Jesse Allen Elliott and Jacob Nagle.

Elizabeth loved spending time with family especially on Sunday which she refer to as "Family Day". She loved to spoil her grandchildren and loved to provide a home cooked meal. She was also a great seamstress. She had a passion for Italy from which her parents immigrated from and loved all things Italian.
