Gloria Thompson

Mrs. Thompson was born March 3, 1926 in Evans, La to Homer and Addie Kerr. She was a nurse for 25 years at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. One of her greatest loves was fishing with her husband and she enjoyed taking care of her dachshunds.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, George Thompson; son, G. Douglas Thompson and wife, Luana of Longview, TX; grandchildren, Brian Thompson and wife, Laurie of Plano, TX, Nikki Kienast and husband, Randy of Dallas, TX, Kellie Thompson of Chicago, IL as well as 3 great granddaughters and 1 great grandson. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, February 11, 2011 at Westlake Memorial Park. Bro. Yarbrough will officiate. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Thursday and Friday 10 a.m. til the start of service.
