Gregg Lynn Royer

Gregg was born in Lake Charles, LA and lived in DeQuincy, LA. He graduated from Westlake High where he lettered in baseball. He worked for Waterworks District #3 in Ragley. He loved to coach his son in baseball, hunt, fish, and never met a stranger. He was a loving husband, son, father, grandfather, brother and uncle; he especially loved them all unconditionally.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Yvonne DeMary Royer; his daughter, Heather Taylor and husband, Eric of Lumberton, TX; his son, Justin Vacker and wife, Kirstie of DeQuincy; his grandchildren, Bryli Sonnier, Baiyah Taylor, Madden, and Kamdyn Vacker; his parents, Julian and Loretta Royer of Westlake; his sister, Sherry Robertson and husband, Ronnie of Westlake; his nephew/Godchild, Shawn Robertson and wife, Katy of Roanoke, LA; great-nieces, Addison and Olivia Robertson and Victoria Holguin.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lifford and Lillian Royer, Jesse and Della Bruce; one brother, Craig Royer; and uncle, Luther Royer.

His funeral will be 10am Monday, June 9, in Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. The Rev. David Lilly will be officiating. Visitation is from 5pm-9pm Sunday, June 8, and will resume Monday 8am 'til time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake.
