Iva Marie Arnett

With gentle grace, timeless beauty and unwavering faith that could move mountains, Iva Marie Pumpelly Arnett, 95, of Westlake left this world, Friday, January 6, 2017 holding her daughters hand and was welcomed into the arms of Christ.

She lived in Westlake many years and was an active member of the Church of God in Westlake and Gateway Church of God in Moss Bluff.

She is survived by her daughter, Charlene Gibbens and husband Durbin of Ponchatoula, LA; niece, Chappelle Arnett of Covington, LA; granddaughter, Jennifer Delatte and husband Kirk of Donaldsonville, LA; Leslie Janis and husband Jesse of Kansas City, MO; grandson, Aaron Arnett of Chicago, IL; two great granddaughters and seven great grandsons; brother, Charles Pumpelly of Houston, Tx; sisters, Sylvia Dunn and Lois Hoyler of Lake Charles.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Arnett; son, Charles Arnett, Jr.; parents, Marie and James Pumpelly; sister, Dorothy Arno; brothers, Rev. Paul Pumpelly and Bob Pumpelly.

Services will be 11:00am, Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Rev. Charlie Willis will officiate.
