James Ludwig Klinefelter

He was a member of Bellview Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWll and a Master Mason at Ocean View Lodge #335 of Ocean View, VA. James was also a retired publications printer of 32 years.

He is survived by his son, Karl Klinefelter and wife Christine of Westlake; daughters, Ida Jo Weil and husband Terry of Norfolk, VA; Mabel Louise Hardesty of Stafford, VA; Eva Marie Dintman and husband Dave of Holland, MI; Cris Rogers and husband Dennis of Claremore, OK; Thelma Gail Hicks and husband James of Lawrenceville, GA; Brenda Jane Fairley and husband Kelly of Slidell, LA; brother, Wilber Klinefelter of White Plains, VA; sister, Barbara Ranck of Williamsport, VA; eighteen grandchildren, thirty two great grandchildren and one great great grandchild. He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Davenport Klinefelter; son, James Klinefelter; parents, Robert and Leona Brass Klinefelter; sisters, Helen Ravert, Betty Ranck, Mary Sellers and Carolyn Hill.

His service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 13, 2013 at Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles. Pastor Dennis Rogers will officiate. Visitation will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and resume Friday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens.
