James Darrell Marcantel

James was was born September 28,1956 in Lake Charles, Louisiana and graduated from LaGrange High School in 1975. He then served in The United States Navy from 1975 until 1979. James later retired from Cintas Uniform Corporation after 39 years of service.

He is preceded in death by his father James Marcantel, his brother Kent Marcantel, and his granddaughter Izabelle Marie Marcantel.

Those left to cherish his memories include his loving wife of 42 years, Susan David Marcantel, his three sons; Chad Marcantel, Matthew Marcantel and wife Juliana, and Justin Marcantel, his two granddaughters; Karra Jane Marcantel, and Lorelei Grace Marcantel, his mother, Ruby Marcantel, two brothers; Mitch Marcantel, and Kevin Marcantel and wife Laura.

The family will welcome the public for visitation at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake, Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 11 am until 4 pm, with a rosary at 1 pm. Funeral services will begin at 4 pm. Cremation will follow funeral services.
