He was born in Lake Charles to Nellie and Clarence Moran. Jerry enjoyed antiques, Karaoke, dinner parties and just being around friends.
Survivors include his life partner, Raymond Rodriguez of Spring, TX; daughters, Contessa Moran of Nederland, TX and Chrissy Walker of Mauriceville, TX; brother, Gene Steele of Sulphur; sisters, Patti Young of Indiana and Kay Stine of Hackberry, LA; mother of the children, Charlotte Perego; and grandchildren, Madilynn Homuth, Bryath, Ceideah, and Kyilar Walker.
Visitation will be from 12p.m. – 2p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Burial will be in Bagdad Cemetery. His funeral will be at 2p.m. on Saturday at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake. Words of comfort may be shared with the family at www.hixsonfuneralhomes.com.
