Lillian Bailey Dixon

Lillian was a retired physical education teacher at S.P. Arnett and then became co owner of Sonny's Hardware in Westlake for 35 years.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Edwin Glenn Dixon, Jr. and wife Barbara, Lisa Cole and husband Bruce, and Brian Dixon; five grandchildren, Joshua, Wayne, and Krista Dixon, Katherine and Aaron Cole; as well as five great grandchildren, Jackson, Caden, Landon and Maverick Dixon, and Lillian Rae Cole.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Ruby Bailey; husband of 76 years, Edwin Glenn "Sonny" Dixon, Sr.; siblings, William E. Bailey, Mary Virginia Pollard, and Betty Lucille Dean.

The family will welcome relatives and friends at Hixson Funeral Homes of Westlake on Monday, March 2, 2026 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at Gateway Church of God on Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. with a Funeral Service to begin at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be immediately following at Westlake Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, Gateway Church of God Youth or charity of your choice.
