Louisa Parker, better known as "Dolly", passed away January 15, 2023 in Sulphur, LA. Dolly was born to parents Robert and Olivia Ramirez on September 03, 1958 in Bay City, TX. At the age of 4, she and her parents moved to Westlake, LA where she remained for the remainder of her life.
Dolly was known as a caring, loving person. She also loved taking care of children, especially her grandkids. She worked at the recreational center for 17 years caring for the children that attended.
She loved BINGO, family time with her mother, brother and sisters, eating mangos and generally just being an overall nice person, but in her own special way. She also loved to cook and her specialty was tamales!
Dolly is survived by her husband of 39 years Carl Parker, mother Olivia Ramirez, son Carl Parker Jr., sisters Olivia Brown, Teresa Ramirez, and Molly Ramirez, brothers Robert Ramirez Jr. and Bobby Ramirez, nieces Amy and Tera Ramirez, Kayla Leblanc, Tanya Haynie, Kassidy Ramirez, nephews Brian Ramirez, Brent Ramirez, Clint Farris, Russell Farris, and Zachary Butterfield.
She is welcomed into heaven by her father Robert Ramirez and nephew Jason Ramirez.
A visitation for Louisa will be held Thursday, January 19, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hixson Westlake funeral home at 2409 Westwood RD. Westlake, LA,70669.
A funeral service will follow visitation on Thursday, January 19, 2023 at 1:00 PM.
A graveside service will be held at Consolata in Lake Charles, LA following funeral services.
