Peggy J King

Peggy was a kind-hearted, loving woman who never met a stranger and loved everyone she met. She especially loved spending time with her family. She had a love of acrylic painting and reading.

Family was extremely important to her. She leaves behind her three loving children, Allan King and wife Pat of Pflugerville, Texas, Richard King of Leesville, and Pam Richmond and husband Chad of Westlake; five grandchildren, Wayne King and wife Kristy of San Antonio, Texas, Brandi Helmenstein of Pflugerville, Texas, Michael King of Houston, Texas, Thomas Richmond and wife Melissa and Aimee Edwards and husband Matt of Westlake; nine great-grandchildren, Haylie and Alek King of San Antonio, Texas, Bryan McKernan and wife Brittany of the U.S., Navy, Mathew McKernan of Houston, Texas, Faith Helmenstein of Pflugerville, Texas, Reese Edwards, Grant Edwards, Scotty Richmond, and Abel Richmond of Westlake; great-great grandchild, Wyatt Christopher McKernan, sister, Brenda Stutzman and husband Tommy of Sulphur and their children, Tom, John, Jason and Deanna and their families; brother, Ronnie Babineaux of Orange, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Leonard J. King and parents, Alcide Babineaux and Lena Mae Baker-Babineaux.

Her funeral services will be 11am, Saturday June 24, 2017 at St. John Bosco in Westlake. Father Mike Barras will officiate. Her interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake. Visitation will be held from 4pm to 8pm, Friday, June 23, 2017 with the Rosary at 6pm at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake.
