Sherman Charles Holland

He was born on September 08, 1952, to parents Royce and Irene Holland in Hayes, LA.

Sherman was an outdoorsman but particularly loved gar fishing, he also had a passion for cooking spicy food, enjoyed helping others, going to garage sales, and spending quality time with his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Linda Poole; brother, David Holland; and wife, Cheryl Pierrottie Holland.

Sherman's memory will be cherished by his loving life partner, JoAnne LeJeune; step-father, Leo LaRocque; sons, Charles "Chuck" Holland (Brenda Tighe), Chris Pierrottie (Alesha), and Russell "Pudge" Holland; daughters, Karlene Holland, Katie Holland Dukes (Shaun) and Shelley Holland (Courtney Childs); brother, Ted Holland (Elaine); as well as 21 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family would like to invite friends and relatives to Hixson Westlake on Tuesday, June 04, 2024, from 4 pm until 9 pm for visitation. Visitation resumes on Wednesday, June 05, 2024, from noon until the time of service at 2 pm. Services will be led by Hixson celebrant Jodi Tyler.

Burial will be held at a later date.
