Thomas D. Parrish Jr.

He was a WWII Naval Veteran serving in the Pacific Theater. He was a professional welder, local 449 of Pittsburgh, PA. He was an avid golfer, and archery enthusiast. He loved to build and ride custom motorcycles. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, great grandfather and great, great grandfather.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Margie Parrish of Westlake; children, Maryanne Parrish of Clinton, PA, Donald Parrish and wife, Cathy of Berthoud, CO, Robert Parrish of Westlake, LA, Thomas David Parrish III of Washington, PA, Paul Parrish of Westlake, LA; sisters, Laverne Black of Chickamauga, GA; 12 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren and 1 great, great grandchild.

His funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday, October 14, 2011 at Bellview Baptist Church. Rev. Jason Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines North. Visitation will be at Hixson Funeral Home of Westlake on Thursday from 3-9 p.m. and again on Friday from 8 a.m. til 11 a.m. Visitation will resume at the church on Friday from 1 p.m. til time of service.
