Carolyn was born in Cleveland, the beloved daughter of the late Wilbur J. and Hildred G. (Steward) Edwards. She is the loving sister of Philip (Roberta) Edwards Sr.; dear aunt of Philip Edwards Jr., Tammy (Michael) Rubin, Scott Edwards and Mark Edwards and great-aunt of Rossana Edwards, Mark Edwards, Jesse Edwards, Isaac Edwards and great-great aunt of Isaac Edwards Jr. and Alexzander Edwards.
She had a deep love for music, embracing all genres with joy and passion. Whether singing with her group, playing the piano or organ, or lending her beautiful voice to the church choir, music was woven into the fabric of her life.
Creativity flowed through everything she did—crafting, beading, looming, and coloring brought her peace and pride. She loved the excitement of bingo nights and never missed a Chuck Norris movie or an episode of Gunsmoke.
A true people person, she thrived on outings with Pathways, always ready for an adventure, a laugh, or a good meal—she was a proud foodie. Her warm, social spirit lit up every room, and her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 24, 2025 from 11AM-1230PM with a funeral service at 1230PM at Corrigan Craciun Funeral Home, 23040 Center Ridge Rd., Westlake, Ohio 44145. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens, 3700 Center Rd., Avon, Ohio 44011
