Mom, although we never got to be as close as I was hoping we could one day be, I will carry many special memories and advice that you have given me throughout the years that I've been blessed to know you. I will never forget the sound of your sweet voice, your funny southern sayings that always made me laugh and smile, and all the things you taught me about crafting. I am so proud to call you my mom and looking forward to the day we will reunite in Heaven. You are so special and such a strong leader in this family, that even in death your example of giving your life to Christ and being water baptized, conquered the sting of death and brought peace. Dear Evans family, David and I send our thoughts and prayers at this most difficult time. Losing such a vital part of your life is never easy and as the days go on the shock turns to sorrow. I lost my dad in October and Beth was so great,sending me messages of condolences and words of encouragement. She reached out to my mom even though she had never met her and talked to her about sewing and quilting just to give her something to think about besides my dad's death. Her daily Facebook posts were always a delight whether they were about silly things or even just what she was making for dinner. She will be missed and always remembered with love. Miss Beth you had a heart of gold and such a loving spirit. Bless your heart sugar.

Miss Beth will be well and truly missed. She brought so many of us together with her humour and her insight. I am so sorry that the one chance we had to meet she couldn't make it because of her illness. My thoughts are with all her family this weekend.
